Life story
July 24, 1991
Today my second son was born.  We were living in San Antonio at the time.  I was in the USAF stationed at Lackland AFB as a Training Instructor.  I just got home sometime in the early afternoon.  I knew Gheri was in labor because she called me earlier.  I don't remember why we didn't leave for the hospital right away.  I took Danny outside and let him ride his power wheels for a while.  We then left for Wilford Hall Medical Center and within the hour Anthony Michael Cola was born.  He did have minor complications after the delivery but he recovered well.  That was the third best day of my life.

Anthony's 1st Christmas!!  We left San Antonio and moved to New York.  This is Ant with his Mom, his Big Brother Danny, and his Great Uncle Bill.

I don't remember the exact date, but this picture was taken in the Summer of 1992 when we use to live off Route 208 in Washingtonville.  It wasn't the best but it was a roof over our head and you were too young to know any better.  I love your smile.

Anthony "Ant" Michael Cola, a student of Pine Bush High School, passed away today as a result of an ATV accident.  He was 16 years old.

Ant will always be remembered for his big smile and beautiful blue eyes.  He was known lovingly by many nicknames including "Giggz", "Anfernie", and "Ratboy".  He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and loved music and his sneakers.

He will be missed and always loved by ALL that knew him.  This was the worse day of my life!

I found this beautiful website and made a memorial to our son Anthony. Anthony will be in our hearts forever. He will always be remembered for his big, bright smile that seemed to light up every room he entered. Anthony loved life, he was a huge fan of the New York Yankees, enjoyed listening to music, and loved sneakers (I wonder where he got that from). He was going to be a junior in high school. Anthony liked "chillin'" with his friends Brian & Kevin Moultree, Gabby Morrison, Rashaad, Conrad Joseph, Isiah Jewell, Rich Eng, Kevin Lomax, just to name a few. He was a master of the XBox 360 (never let me play but I always enjoyed watching him play). You will live in my heart forever.  We will miss you Ant. Love PoP
